Rich Saxton
Children’s & Youth Athlete Physiotherapist
Rich is an experienced Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapist and co-founder of Run Serve Health Physiotherapy, with a particular interest in treating children and young athletes.
Having qualified as a physiotherapist in 2010, Rich has developed extensive clinical experience across NHS and private practice. He completed his Master's degree in Sports Physiotherapy at the University of Bath in 2019 and has a particular interest in paediatric and adolescent injuries, growth-related conditions and the physical demands of developing athletes.
Rich enjoys working with young people experiencing sporting injuries, persistent aches and pains and growth-related conditions that affect their ability to participate in sport and everyday activities. He understands that treating growing bodies requires a different approach to adults, considering physical development, training demands and the individual needs of each young athlete.
His approach combines thorough clinical assessment, evidence-informed rehabilitation and clear communication. He takes the time to involve both young athletes and their parents, explaining findings, providing practical advice and creating tailored plans to support recovery and a confident return to sport.
As a keen runner and regular hockey and tennis player himself, Rich understands the enjoyment, commitment and physical demands of sport. He is passionate about helping the next generation stay active, develop physically and build the confidence to enjoy the sports and activities they love.
Our goal is simple: to help every child feel listened to, supported and confident in their recovery, while giving parents the clarity and reassurance to know they’re in safe hands.
